After World War 3 nuked the coasts and irradiated the atmosphere, rain is sucked from the sky before it can fall. In what’s left of America, water is weaponised currency, and the only thing worth killing or kissing for.

The outlaw water thief, BABRIELLE ‘TANKERBABE’ RYDE risks the death penalty and steals water for the people, one hijacked truck at a time. Together with her battle tanker truck, AJAX, emoji-spouting AI motorbike, REBEL, and sarcastic talking dog, FRANK, they try to quench the thirst of the masses. Across the desert wasteland, they evade the Confederal Government of the 24-foot orange robot PRESIDENT KING TRODGE, and dodge the Purifier bounty hunters enforcing the iron grip of the absurdly powerful WATER4ALL Corporation.

While escaping from the Purifier QALLANDRA, Tankerbabe discovers a buried supertanker ship holding a billion litres of drinking water: the GALATEA’S PROMISE, a leviathan that vanished beneath the desert during WW3. On board the abandoned ship, she encounters AVERY WETTWON, an 18-year-old ingénue engineer, raised on the ship and on DVDs, who’s spent the last five years in isolation with only inanimate objects as imaginary friends. With fresh water, a fantastical perspective and a growing found family, Tankerbabe decides to solve the water crisis by giving all the water away.

But solutions dry up in the desert. After setbacks, she hatches a new plan to use the water to raise an army of outlaws, discontents and misfits, and start a glamorous revolution. With the family additions of a rock-goth hacker ex, a new special service stripper friend and a plethora of rebel recruits, they turn a ruined water facility into a rebel camp and a strip club into a spy hub. The rebellion gains steam, the people surge with hope, and pocket-lining profits drain away.  As rebels train, Water4all feels the pain.

The corporate authorities respond to the hijacking and sabotage with payment incentives, propaganda and punitive action, AKA population massacres. Tankerbabe gets betrayed, faces death, and sees friends die. When Frank is kidnapped and tortured, the cost of leading the rebellion hits hard, and the sacrifice nearly breaks her. But where a pragmatic person might take pause, Tankerbabe ramps things up.

Together with her pink-cosplay, cracked-more-than-crack advance team, she infiltrates the Water4all regional water processing fortress as entertainment for a specially organised VIP party, and opens the floodgates for the rebel army. Amongst all the inaccurate gunfire and gratuitous explosions, egg grenades engulf, carrot bazookas down drones, and stripper drilldos flail. Tankerbabe rescues Frank, has an electrifying showdown with her nemesis, Qallandra, and liquidates the deranged Corporate Exec responsible for the massacres.

The fortress falls, they Make It Rain Again, and the battle day is won.

But the real revolution has just begun.
